The Little Shell made it's debut appearance in 2017 for season 4 of Wicked Tuna Outer Banks.  She returns for another season July 2022.  The 3 man crew of lifetime watermen consists of:

 Nick Gowitzka, a veteran to the Wicked Tuna Series, appearing in previous seasons as a mate on the Fishing Frenzy, decided in Season 4 to step into the boots of Captain to lead the Little Shell to glory.

 Cliff Spencer appeared in the 2016 season alongside Dave Marciano as mate on the Hard Merchandise, found him in Season 4 as mate on the Little Shell.

Brandan Brickhouse made his debut as mate in Season 4.

The Little Shell had a great inaugural tuna season, landing their fair share of awesome fish.  The crew of the Little Shell with be going for the gold in the next season on the National Geographic Channel July 2022.
